What Is Indirect Fired Heat?
Much like a furnace, indirect heaters contain a flame within their burn chambers that warms a heat exchange. After air circulates through it, it passes through duct work and into the space being heated. Exhaust is removed by a chimney in the top of the unit. Indirect heaters produce 100% clean, breathable air and do not release Carbon Dioxide because the flame is not in contact with the air.
